Numero Uno- The posts are currently WAY out of whack- stuff from May is being pushed to the top. That being said, its interesting to go back and read what my life was like 9 months ago.
Numero Dos- Its hot in Austin, which is putting a cramp on this whole holiday prep. Its weird to have to turn your A/C on whilst(is whilst the appropriate word) decorating the casa.
Numero Tres- My house looks awesome in its festivus cheer. Someone pointed out to me today, the futility of decorating one month prior to the exodus to the D.C. area, but no one will hold me back from Christmaspalooza 2005.
Numero Quatro- I have watched an enormous amount of TV this weekend- movies galore- but the best being Vegas Vacation, and Miracle on 34th Street. I just need a little more Griswald happiness and my day will be complete.
Numero Sinco- I am finally making my turkey today- been too lazy to do it all week- turkey salad, soup and sandwiches here I come. Hell hath no fury like a girl without her yearly dose of the bird.
and finally....
I realized I am totally pathetic. I must have talked to my mom 20 times this weekend. Yeah, I am a grownup. Yeah, I didnt need to go home- I was a-ok sitting in my house by myself.
